Instructions (WIP)
1. Before you Start
Before you start, you'll need to have an activation code from someone using the site. This is to prevent spam accounts, and to keep growth manageable.
2. Signing Up & In
If you have a code, you can create an account by signing with Discord (clicking the sign in button in the top right will take you to auth.flak.dev, which is the authentication provider for Drugstore). It uses the same authentication style as XMA, and the only thing it does is provide a way to identify you. Drugstore cannot see your email address, phone number, friends, or any of the servers you're in. Nor can it post on your behalf.
3. Activating Your Account
Once you're signed in, you can activate your account with the code you got from another user.
Note: Using an invitation code will not automatically pair you with the person who invited you. This is because pairing happens between personas, not user accounts.
4. Creating Personas, Characters, & Visages
Once your account is activated, you can start sharing!
A character represents a single role-playing character's profile. Each character can have up to 12 visages associated with it, and you can link multiple characters to a single persona.
You can link any character you create to any persona you own. This enables you to share multiple characters with a single code, or to keep your alts separate in different contexts.
A persona is a player profile for use with drugstore. You pick a name, an optional avatar, and get a code that can be used to pair with other personas in the system.
Important! You should only pair with people you know and trust, as pairing allows them to see any characters on that persona, and
A visage is a single "appearance" for a character. You can have up to 12 per character. Each visage can have a PCP and/or MCDF file associated with it, allowing people you pair with to see your character's appearance in-game (with PCP), or with GPose (with MCDF).
5. Getting Started
You can get started by creating a persona, a character, and then linking that character on the persona's page.
If you are pretty vanilla yourself, and just want to see others' characters, you can skip the character step and just make a persona.
Once you've got your persona, copy its code to a friend and have them do the same. Pair on the page for your specific persona, and once they've done the same, you'll be able to see each other's profiles and characters.
